Cancellations

Sometimes things happen and you have to cancel or reschedule your appointment, and that's okay. There is no fee if notification is given at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.

Notification given less than 24 hours before the appointment time will result in a 50% charge of the reserved service amount.

In the unlikely event that you are not home for your appointment, you will owe 100% of the reserved service amount.

Appointment Start

I will arrive 10–15 minutes before your appointment time so I have time to set up and we can start on time.

Your session time is your hands-on time.

Communications

Once we have scheduled an appointment, I will confirm the day before and text you with an ETA when I am on my way. Please let me know if there are any special instructions about directions or parking.

Since I am human and can make mistakes or have an emergency, if you don't hear from me the day before, please reach out.

Your therapy session is customized to your needs. Please let me know your goal for the session and any limitations so I can best serve you.

Working with Limitations

In the event that you have a limitation that makes getting onto a massage table difficult, I am happy to work with you in a reclining chair or in whatever position is most comfortable for you.

Payments

I accept cash, check, CashApp, Zelle, and Venmo. I also accept credit card payments, just let me know in advance.

I am also open to bartering. Talk to me if you'd like to explore that option

Discounts are available for each of these: group discounts or if you have your own massage table or if I see you regularly.

Children and Pets

I love children and animals. If you are a mom with a busy, even messy house and little ones running around, please don't worry, I have been there!

A note about dogs: In my experience, dogs bark because they want to be acknowledged. I always make sure to say hello, and they usually calm right down and relax along with you. I am even happy to give a little doggie massage if they're interested! If they would be a distraction for your session, however, it's a good idea to put them in another space so you can get the most out of your time.

A note about cats: Most cats are timid and like to disappear when a stranger arrives, but some are wonderfully curious and may want to join you on the table. Since cat claws can easily tear the massage table cover and put it out of use, I kindly ask that brave, inquisitive cats be kept away for the duration of the session.

Allergy Note

If you are having a session with essential oils in my sessions, please let me know in advance if you have any sensitivities and I will adjust accordingly.

I also have a sensitivity to plug-in air fresheners. If you use them, I respectfully ask that you unplug them before my arrival and air out the space. I am also happy to work on a porch or in a shady backyard if you have one, a little nature makes everything better.

My goal is to provide a safe, accepting space for everyone who seeks my services. Even as my services are centered around women, if you are a man or any other orientation, all are welcome! I am trauma-informed and can make referrals for any need that falls outside my scope of practice.
